Dr. Kampa received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth in Biomedical Sciences, his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical and completed a 5-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in Minneapolis. After residency, Dr. Kampa finished 1-year fellowship training in adult reconstruction and orthopaedic trauma at Hennepin County Medical Center. That center is recognized as Minnesota’s Premier Level 1 adult trauma center.
Dr. Kampa has special interests in hip and knee joint replacement and fracture fixation. He enjoys the ability to restore function to his patients and alleviate pain after their injury.
When not at work, his hobbies include classic cars and auto mechanics, snowmobiling, and participation in outdoor activities with his wife and 4 children.
